CCYC Sailing

Overvew

 

We offer our members a variety of sailing programs and opportunities, from Wednesday keelboat racing on the bay to recreational sailing. CCYC is hosting 26 home regattas this year, including national championships, high school and college regional racing and championships, Opti regattas, and a year long selection of adult keelboat regattas.

The club is supported by the Corpus Christi Sailing Foundation (CCSF) helping our educational and scholastic programs thrive. They provide equipment and scholarships to support our youth sailors.


Our club is friendly, amenities are top notch, and the sailing venue is world class! Current sailing opportunities include:

 

Fleets:

  • Optimist Fleet - club boats for Learn to Sail up to R,W,B racing.
  • ILCA Fleet - club boats for training or recreation
  • C420 Fleet - 21 fully rigged Club 420's for high school, collegiate, and C420 competition
  • WASZP Fleet - foiling on club boats, or training from our HUB certified coaches
  • J-80 Fleet - matched fully rigged J boats for recreational sailing or racing on the bay
  • MORF keelboat racing fleet of member's boats

  • Learn to sail for Opti kids 8-12 yrs
  • Learn to sail or 420 kids 13-17 or adults
  • Learn to sail for keelboats or adults
  • Learn to foil for kids and adults
